After a long wait, Porsche has finally unveiled its new EV Models for the Indian market. 10 years from the launch of Macan now Porsche has launched its electric version of it. Porsche has launched two new models named Macan 4 and Macan Turbo. Both vehicles can deliver more than 500 KM per charge. More details regarding Macan 4 and Macan Turbo are stated below.
Porsche Macan EV Price:
Porsche has revealed the ex-showroom price of the Macan Turbo which is set at Rs. 1.65 Cr. and the price of Porsche Macan 4 is yet to be revealed.
Porsche Macan EV Interior and Features:
The design of Prsche Macan is very much inspired by Taycan. It offers a 2,893mm wheelbase which is 86mm longer than its predecessor. It also features four LED elements for daytime running lamps. The doors are frameless and LED are attached to them for a more aesthetic look.
The company provides 540 liters of luggage space at the rear side along with 84 liters of Funk Luggage space below the bonnet.
Porsche has also adopted Android Automotive OS with its new Macan EV. It has three screens which include a 12.6-inch instrument cluster. It also sports “Hey Porsche” Voice Assistant which helps the driver for better driving experience.
Porsche Macan EV Range:
As we told earlier in this article Porsche has unveiled two new EV models in India. If we talk about the Macan Turbo EV which offers 630bhp and a peak torque of 1130 Nm. It is powered by a 95kWh battery which helps the vehicle to go as far as 591 km on a single charge.
Macan Turbo can travel 1 to 100 KM in just 3.3 seconds which is very nice considering it an EV model. It also comes with fast fast-charging of 270 kW 800V DC system which helps the vehicle to charge from 10 to 80 percent in just 21 minutes. It can achieve a top speed of 260KM which is considerably better than other EVs.
On the other side, the Macan 4 comes with the same 95KW batter but it can travel 613KM (Claimed by the company) a little bit more distance on a single charge. But it comes with a maximum power output of 402 bhp and a peak torque of 650 Nm. It can achieve 0-100 kmph in 5.2 seconds which is a little bit slower than Macan Turbo and has a top speed of 220 kmph.
Porsche Macan EV Pre-Order:
Customers can pre-order Macan EVs now by visiting its official website. According to some senior officials from Porshe, the delivery of the Macan Turbo and Macan 4 EV can happen in the second half of 2024.
