PM Kisan 16th Installment: Important news for all the beneficiary farmers of Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana. The work of releasing the 16th installment by the government is in progress. Farmers get three installments of PM Kisan Nidhi every four months in a year. However, for this, all farmers must get e-KYC done. If this is not done, Rs 2,000 of the 16th installment will not be deposited in the bank account of the farmers. Therefore, all eligible farmers should ensure to get their e-KYC done on time so that they can get the benefits of PM Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana.
Get e-KYC done like this:
PM Kisan can get e-KYC done through Face Authentication through the mobile app. PM Kisan mobile app is available on Google Play Store.
Farmers can get e-KYC done through biometric authentication through CSC (Common Service Centre).
Farmers can also get e-KYC done through OTP by visiting the pmkisan.gov.in website.

To avail the benefits of Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi (PM Kisan Yojana) scheme, farmers can go to their nearest Common Service Center (CSC) and get both registration and e-KYC done. The staff there will guide you through the process and explain the identity verification process.
e-KYC through face authentication for PM Kisan 16th Installment:
You have to provide a photograph of your face using the camera for face authentication and then your identity will be verified. You will have to take with you the necessary documents for Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana – Aadhaar card, bank account and land documents etc.
When will the next installment of PM Kisan come?
The 16th installment of PM Kisan is to come in January-February 2024. However, its date has not been announced yet. PM Narendra Modi will release the money of 16th installment (PM Kisan 16th Installment) in the accounts of farmers. More than 13 crore farmer families can benefit from this. However, before this, only those who fulfill the eKYC rules and other standards will get the money.
What is PM Kisan Yojana?
Under PM Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana, beneficiary farmers are given Rs 2000 every 4 months. This amount is Rs 6000 annually. It is transferred directly to bank accounts. Prime Minister Modi himself transfers a total of 3 installments in a year to the bank accounts. In the Union Budget 2023-24, a cash transfer of Rs 2.2 lakh crore was made to 11.4 crore farmers under PM Kisan Samman Nidhi.
